We are a community farm dedicated to improving the quality of life of residents of North Brooklyn. Our mission is to demonstrate the transformative potential of urban agriculture and engage the Brooklyn community in sustainable, local food production opportunities.

Sunnyside Tree Stewards (STS) is a community group of all ages whose members are dedicated to the care of the street trees, young and old, in Sunnyside, Queens and to garnering community support for possibly our greatest public asset. We will participate in the NYC Parks Dept MillionTreesNYC program (MTNYC) which provides workshops and support to members of the public and community groups who are interested in the care of our urban forest.

This is a group for people with chickens or thinking about getting chickens. The common denominator is a love of all things chicken. I have 6 chickens that I keep in a highly protected coop in my backyard.
